1. How to setup NFS share?

An NFS is a protocol that lets linux OSes, access a distributed file store. it stands for Network File Share

Unusual things about NFS:
  • It has no authentication. No usernames or passwords.
  • Only form of "authentication" is by limited which IP address can access the share (i.e the share is limited to a single or a list of hosts)
  • Mostly used in Linux deployments
